Founder and Managing Director

Paul is the inspiration behind Aspire, having founded the company in 2003. He has worked in the financial services industry since 1990, fuelled by a passion to help individuals – most particularly business owners – realise their personal life aspirations and dreams and to believe that anything is possible.

Paul’s distinctive approach to financial planning is born of a conviction that people have the power within them to achieve pretty much whatever they set their minds to, once freed from the limitations and low expectations that traditional thinking can impose. With this in mind he has spent a number of years studying and teaching personal development and self realisation. He is an active supporter of the NSPCC, and the West Midlands division of Young Enterprise, a national charity that helps youngsters to think positively about their future potential from an early age.

Paul is a dedicated family man; passionate about spending holidays and leisure time with his wife Heather, their two children and the family dogs. He’s also a keen squash player and mountain bike enthusiast. But his greatest satisfaction – both in work and life – lies in helping people achieve their potential and overcome the negativity he believes is endemic in modern life.

Paul’s life aspiration is to continue doing exactly what he’s doing today. And, having climbed Britain’s three highest mountains within 24 hours in 1997, has decided against an attempt on Everest!
